Saif Ali Khan receiving assistance from professional chefs

A MUMBAI restaurateur and his chef have been signed on by the makers of the Hindi adaptation of the Jon Favreau ‘Chef’ that will frontline the rather delicious Saif Ali Khan. Chef Rohan D’Souza and Hitesh Keswani run a series of eateries in Mumbai and Dubai. They have been brought in to assist Ali Khan on how to run a scullery. The two are delighted to work with the actor, especially since he is a big foodie and rather particular about the taste, texture and presentation of food. They let out that Ali Khan is also quite taken in by kitchen gadgets and tools. “Working with Saif is exciting. It’s doubly gratifying that an established actor is taking so much interest to get to the depth of his performance. We are hoping that through this film, the audiences will know what we chefs go through,” says Chef D’Souza. “It’s wonderful that a production of this stature is joining hands with us to understand our expertise in order to make the look of the film as authentic as possible,” adds Keswani.
