Top 10 Saif Ali Khan performances

We list down the best roles by the Nawab of Bollywood

Main Khiladi Tu Anari:
His look in this ’90s starrer is a far cry from what he looked like post Dil Chahta Hai. His long hair and polished look made for an attractive chocolate boy. He stood tall alongside his co-star, Akshay Kumar. And how can we forget the epic song, Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

Dil Chahta Hai
Saif Ali Khan’s light-hearted, somewhat confused character in Dil Chahta Hai wins hearts instantly. He plays a boy who falls in love easily but is an emotional soul. He adds a cherry on the cake with his comic timing to a cult film.

Kal Ho Na Ho:
Saif’s lovable character in Kal Ho Na Ho is impressive. He holds his ground brilliantly alongside co-stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.

Hum Tum
A huge success at the box-office, Saif’s character in Hum Tum was a rather light hearted just as cute as the animated Tum.

Ek Hasina Thi
Saif’s character in Ek Hasina Thi is a rather sly and mean one, immersed in murky business. He evokes extreme anger and then extreme pity. In this tit for tat saga of a woman wronged, he portrays this shady character with much élan and style. His performance towards the climax is applaud worthy.

Omkara:
Saif Ali Khan performed brilliantly as Langda Tyagi in Omkara. He brought to life the rustic and foul-mouthed mean guy. A role much against his suave real-life persona.

Salaam Namaste:
We had never seen a more handsome chef than Saif in any Hindi film before we watched Salaam Namaste. Saif’s look was smashing in a metrosexual get up with pink shirts, manicured legs and shaved chest.

Parineeta:
It’s almost like Saif relived his real life character on screen in this film. His look was very charming yet sophisticated, much like a Nawab from the royal palaces.

Love Aaj Kal:
It was a double whammy for Saif’s fans watching him in two roles. He looked as smashing in a turban as he looked otherwise.

Cocktail:
Saif was as amazing as he is in all his films but the scene where he is dancing to Sheela Ki Jawani in his quirky avatar is just so hilarious. The polished nawab surely left us surprised.
