Saif Ali KhanPrabhas, Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush to not hit screens on August 11

The release of Om Raut’s Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush has been pushed back due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The pan-India film was supposed to hit screens on August 11 but the makers have decided to push the release. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, which sees Naga Chaitanya in a supporting role, was supposed to hit screens on April 14. The film’s release has however been pushed to August 11 and to accommodate it, makers of Adipurush have pushed teir film’s release. A new release date is yet to be announced.

Prabhas plays Lord Ram in Adipurush while Saif plays Lankesh and Kriti plays Sita. Fans can’t wait to see their looks from the film that was also shot in Hyderabad on a massive set erected just for it. Prabhas reportedly underwent extensive body training for the role and has also honed on the archery skills he learnt for Baahubali for it. Seeing as expectations are super high for the film, it remains to be seen how it’ll fare.
