Numerous iconic pairings have appeared in Indian cinema over the years, but few have had the same kind of long-lasting impact as Tabu and Saif Ali Khan. The 1999 movie “Hum Saath Saath Hain” marked their first on-screen collaboration. These two gifted actors are renowned for their incredible on-screen chemistry. They had no idea that it would take ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ 21 years to bring them back together. This eagerly anticipated reunion not only revives memories of their previous teamwork but also represents a significant turning point in each of their individual careers.

The release of “Hum Saath Saath Hain” and “Biwi No. 1” in 1999 sent Bollywood into a frenzy. ‘Biwi No. 1’ was a comedy directed by David Dhawan, while ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ was a family drama directed by Sooraj R. Saif Ali Khan has been enthralling the audience with a wide spectrum of characters. Be it Udaybhan Singh Rathod in period drama ‘Tanhaji’ to Jazzy dad in ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ and an entertaining ghost hunter in ‘Bhoot Police’ – Saif has been effortlessly shifting between characters.

Apparently the 51-year-old actor is making a conscious effort to pick experimental characters and opt for never-before-seen roles. A source reveals, “Saif has recently been continuously transitioning from one character to another given his packed shooting schedule for the year. He has been consciously choosing scripts that allow him to explore a new shade as an actor. He will once again be seen transitioning between shades on the opposite ends of the acting spectrum. Given his effortlessness as an artist, he manages to charm with every one of his roles and keep his fans intrigued on what’s next.”

Apart from playing a conman in his upcoming comedy entertainer, Saif Ali Khan has two power packed projects in the pipeline. He will be seen sharing the frame with Hrithik Roshan in ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake. While Hrithik has already begun shooting for the action thriller, Saif will soon begin filming for it from November. Saif Ali Khan also has an impactful role in ‘Adipurush’. He has undergone a massive physical transformation for this Om Raut directorial, wherein he plays the role of Lankesh.
